A luscious sweet wine displaying honey, marmalade, dried apricot and subtle spice notes on the nose. The palate is gorgeously sweet (160 g/l), but not excessively, with excellent mid palate weight and rich texture, finishing succulent and long. This gorgeous sweet wine shows the classic Riesling vibrancy with lovely botrytis influence (75%), making it utterly delicious. At its best: now to 2016.

"This refined dessert wine is from grapes late-picked at Waipara with 75% botrytis infection. Still very fresh and youthful, it is rich, citrusy and slightly spicy, revealing a gentle botrytis influence, plentiful sweetness (160 g/litre of residual sugar) balanced by appetizing acidity, and a very harmonious, long finish. Best 2013+."

“ Moderately sweet Riesling with a gentle, silken texture and appealing bush honey and apricot / tree fruit flavours. Perfectly balanced by fruity, integrated acidity. Classy Riesling that’s deliciously drinkable now but should age well.”
