"Fruit from Georges Road, hand-picked and indigenous yeast barrel-fermented to 14.5% alc. and 15.3 g/L rs, the wine then aged for a further 6 months in seasoned French oak barriques. Bright straw-yellow colour with pale golden hues, light on rim. This has a very concentrated, intensely packed nose of tropical fruits. Turkish Delight, ginger, caramel, tropical fruits, herbs and ginger fill the mouth, forming a concentrated core. Round, oily textures and restrained acidity add an unctuous richness enhancing the breadth and depth of flavour. The palate has an underlying firmness, and the finish is sustained, with bold, burnished, near bitter flavours of brown spices and ginger. This is a firmly rich and complex-flavoured Gewürztraminer to match with flavoursome pork dishes, pates and terrines, and with Middle Eastern cuisine over the next 3-4 years."

"Richly perfumed, weighty wine (14.5% alc/vol), harvested at over 26 brix and fermented and matured for 6 months in French oak barriques. The bouquet is distinctly spicy; the palate full-bodied, with strong, ripe lychee, pear and spice flavours, gentle sweetness, excellent complexity, and a long, well- spiced finish. It’s already delicious."
